The
Experimental Fluid Mechanics and Instability Laboratory is
located in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical
Engineering at the University of Arizona.
The laboratory is supervised by Prof. Jeffrey W. Jacobs, and has
its main focus in experimental studies of accelerated fluid
interfaces, commonly known as Rayleigh-Taylor and
Richtmyer-Meshkov instabilities.
