Education

It is one of our missions to introduce the general public about the development of bio-nano-technologies and to motivate a talented and diverse group of students who will lead the multidisciplinary research in the next decades. SBL plan to develop and maintain an educational website set up for these purposes. It will be a virtual environment comprised interactive tutorials, real-time experimental demonstration, SBL seminars and video interviews. This interactive website is expected to be fully operated at year 2007. At the moment, we provide several introductory article and presentation of bio-, nano-, and information technology for interested readers:

· “A Scientific Wonderland - Bio-Nano Technology for Human Health-“, present at Sunrise Drive Elementary School, Oct 4^th, 2006. (FIRST LEGO League) (2006 Nano Quest)

· “Control of Complex Biomolecular Systems”, an article introducing Bio, Nano, informatics Fusion Technology.

· “There’s Plenty of Room at the Bottom”, an inspiring talk on nanotechnology give by physicist Richard Feynman in 1959.

Education

To introduce the general public about the development of bio-nano-technologies, SBL will develop and maintain a web-based tutorial and exhibits. Also a download area is also available for downloading SBL materials for education and classroom teaching purpose.

Opportunities
