| Our Mission | Opportunities This is one lab where the opportunities are truly boundless; the students create their own opportunities, helped by the extensive network of experts and facilities nationwide (actually worldwide). Currently (1998-99) we are seeking motivated students to work on HYBRISOL, BIROD and MUSCLE WIRES, all of which are expected to be incorporated into future spacecraft. The campuswide Honors Program, administered by the Honors Center has always placed some of the top students with our lab over the years. We also get SpaceGrant students, and we got (throughout its existence) ADP students funded by USRA. Our students have also spent summers at JPL and NASA LeRC. |
